• Listed as just "The Printers' Pocket Guide" in Shattock (p. 53), this is not technically a trade journal. We are including it, however, because of its longevity, its trade content (beyond the diary/almanack), and its inclusion in many early lists of print trade journals
• The wrappers of this issue bear the title “The L.S.C. Compositors', Printers', and Typographical Pocket Almanack and Diary, Handbook and Ready Reckoner” (COPAC)
• “Although not exactly an attractive example of printing, the 1901 edition of The Printers’ Pocket Guide (by A. C. Couch, 219 Shakespeare-road, Herne Hill, S. E.; 2½d., post free) meets a decided want amongst the fraternity.
